  • The Time Is Right, the third LP from Brazilian D&B Pioneer DJ Marky was released on Shogun Audio in September 2023. Through our longstanding relationship with Shogun Audio, we were commissioned to create the artwork for the LP with the emphasis being on a creative style and palette that extracted Marky's charisma using a series of portraits. Opting for a collage treatment, which extended to a beautiful gatefold vinyl product, we made a series of individual collages featuring Marky's portraits which were then used throughout the single campaign, bringing in different accent colours to keep the campaign looking fresh and vibrant. The project was accompanied by a series of animations, which played on the ripping and tearing of the collages, to reveal Marky's portraits and the relevant release information.
